The Joomla CMS (content management system) is, without a doubt, the most intuitive, open-source CMS available today. It is highly-customizable and expandable, and is a perfect solution for virtually any website application.

Despite being very intuitive, there is still a slight learning curve involved with using Joomla to its fullest extent. I have created several video tutorials to help walk you through the different aspects of Joomla in a way that will be easy for you to understand and comprehend. I hope you find them useful.

Joomla 1.5 Basics

This collection of video tutorials were created for the benefit of my web design customers who had Joomla CMS websites created for them. These tutorials are designed to help them understand the architecture of their site and how to perform some basic administrator tasks in the sites' backend. These tutorials do not go into great depth about the Joomla content management system itself as there is plenty of online documentation that explains, in great detail, all of the functions and nuances of Joomla. They are, rather, primers to help new users familiarize themselves enough with the basic operations of their new Joomla website so that they can take control of their site with little or no assistance.
